My name is Ieuan Harrison, and fishing is my passion. It all began when I was just 4 years old, and my father took me to the local Ottawa River for my first fishing experience. After landing a 4-pound smallmouth bass, I was hooked for life! From that moment, I knew I wanted to find a way to turn fishing into a career.

I dedicated myself to learning everything I could about the sport. Every moment I had whether it was after school or on the weekends was spent biking to new fishing spots and honing my skills. Fishing became more than just a hobby; it became my way of life.

Over the years, my passion for fishing only grew stronger. I made the decision to step away from sports and other hobbies to focus entirely on fishing. At 14, I entered my first tournament, spending weeks preparing and pre-fishing. All that hard work paid off when I finished in second place. That moment marked the beginning of my journey to pursue tournament fishing as a career.

That winter, I hosted a family ice fishing tournament to bring families and kids together, sharing the joy of fishing with others. It was an invaluable experience that taught me how to build relationships with sponsors in the industry and how to inspire others with my passion for the sport.

Fast forward 11 years, and I’m heading into my 11th year of tournament fishing. I’ve been fortunate to compete in some of Canada’s biggest tournaments, work with incredible companies, and fish alongside amazing people.

2026 is shaping up to be my biggest year yet I'll be competing in the MLF Toyota series in the States, Growing my guiding business, and collaborating with some fantastic companies. None of this would be possible without the unwavering support of my family, friends, and sponsors. They’ve made it all happen, and I’m incredibly grateful for them.
